2. About Traut
Traut is an iPhone app for independent creatives and self-employed creative professionals.
The app helps users organize the practical and business side of creative work, including projects, clients, tasks, calendar events, deadlines, files, references, finance movements, payment status and work insights.
3. Eligibility
Traut is not intended for children under 13.
By using Traut, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you are able to agree to these Terms under the laws that apply to you.
4. No account system
Traut does not currently require users to create an account.
There is no login, no account profile and no account-based service.
Because no account is created, there is no account deletion process. Users can remove local app data by deleting data inside the app, where available, or by deleting the app from their device.
5. Paid app
Traut is available as a paid app through the Apple App Store.
Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store full payment card details.
Any purchase, refund or payment issue related to the App Store purchase is handled according to Apple's App Store terms and policies.
Traut does not currently offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.
6. Your content
You may add information to Traut, including project details, client information, tasks, events, notes, files, images, PDFs, Pinterest board links, finance movements, payment status and other project-related information.
You keep ownership of the content you add to Traut.
You are responsible for making sure that the information you add is accurate and that you have the right to store and manage it.
You agree not to use Traut to store unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, infringing or unauthorized content.
7. Client and project information
Traut may be used to store client names, contact details, project history, files, notes and payment-related information.
You are responsible for handling your client information lawfully and appropriately.
You should not add sensitive, confidential or regulated information unless you have the right and authority to store it on your device.
8. Files and references
Traut may allow you to add files, PDFs, images, documents or reference links to projects.
You are responsible for the files and links you add.
You agree not to add files or links that infringe someone else's rights, contain unlawful material, or violate applicable laws.
9. Finance and payment tracking
Traut may help you track finance movements, payment status, project income, project prices, credit notes or related project information.
Traut is an organizational tool.
Traut is not an accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, tax, financial, legal or business advisory service.
You are responsible for checking payment records, invoices, tax obligations, client agreements and financial decisions independently.
10. Notifications
Traut may send notifications for tasks, deadlines, overdue items or project-related reminders if you allow notifications on your device.
Notifications are provided as a convenience.
You remain responsible for checking your own tasks, deadlines, client obligations and project commitments.
11. Local storage and backups
Traut currently stores app data locally on your iPhone.
Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in device backups managed by Apple, such as iCloud device backups.
You are responsible for managing your own device, backups and data recovery options.
We are not responsible for data loss caused by device damage, deletion, operating system issues, failed backups, user error or other events outside our control.
12. App functionality and availability
We aim to make Traut useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device or iOS version.
Features may change, be updated or be removed over time.
We may update the app to improve performance, fix issues, change functionality or meet App Store requirements.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the app
- attempt to access systems, code or data without permission
- interfere with the app's security or functionality
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or exploit the app in an unauthorized way
- use the app for unlawful purposes
- use the app to store or manage content that violates the rights of others
- attempt to bypass App Store purchase rules or payment systems
14. Intellectual property
Traut, including its name, design, interface, branding, structure, text, visual elements and software, is owned by Kateryna Vanieieva or licensed to her, unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, modify or create derivative works from Traut without written permission.
Your use of the app does not give you ownership of Traut's intellectual property.
15. Privacy
Your use of Traut is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how information is stored, used and protected.
16. Third-party services and platforms
Traut is distributed through the Apple App Store.
Your download and use of the app may also be subject to Apple's terms, policies and technical requirements.
Traut may allow users to save external reference links, such as Pinterest board links. We are not responsible for the content, availability, policies or practices of third-party websites or platforms linked by users.
17. Disclaimer
Traut is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that Traut will meet all of your needs, be uninterrupted, be error-free, preserve all data, or produce any specific business, creative or financial result.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kateryna Vanieieva will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, clients, data, business, opportunities or reputation arising from your use of Traut.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of Traut after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
